Smart Traffic System

Problem Statement

Use CCTV cameras installed on junctions to figure out which side has maximum traffic and accordingly adjust duration of red/green light automatically.

Solution

The proposed system’s approach towards providing a solution to this problem will be designing a system that is capable enough to identify density of Traffic in the scene and thus altering its timer accordingly.

• Deep learning system would enable the system to adaptively analyse the traffic scene.
• Provide low, moderate or heavy traffic considering traffic density as the major parameter.
• Special feature includes priority to ambulances and fire trucks.
